Sales Representative

As a Sales Representative, you will play a key role in driving the growth of Security and Property Protection Agency Co. Ltd by generating new business and maintaining long-term customer relationships. You will be the main point of contact for potential and existing clients, ensuring their satisfaction with our electronic security solutions and services. Your goal is to secure new sales while encouraging customer loyalty and repeat business.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

KRA – Sales and Business Opportunities

  • Respond to inbound product inquiries, proactively identify potential customers, and schedule appointments to assess their needs.
  • Conduct product demonstrations tailored to customer requirements.
  • Research and identify advertising channels to boost inbound sales opportunities.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of potential customers through referrals from existing clients.
  • Represent the company at industry exhibitions, events, and product demonstrations, showcasing our solutions.
  • Continuously monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer demands, proposing improvements where necessary.

KRA – Customer Relationship Management

  • Guide customers throughout the entire sales process, from initial inquiry to post-sale support, ensuring a seamless and positive experience.
  • Actively listen to customer needs, offering the most appropriate solutions from our product range to meet their security requirements.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing customers through regular phone calls and email communication, ensuring they are satisfied and loyal to the company.
  • Gather and report customer feedback to management, providing suggestions for service enhancements.

Qualifications & Experience required

  • Higher School Certificate or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a sales position, preferably within the security or technology sectors.

  • Fluent in English and French, with excellent written and spoken communication skills.

Asset Protection Officer

Qualifications & Key Competencies Required:

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

KRA – Frontline Engagement & Stakeholder Experience

  • Serve as the primary point of professional contact for clients, visitors, and contractors, facilitating a seamless and secure entry experience.
  • Provide accurate information and assistance while maintaining a keen awareness of the environment.
  • Resolve inquiries and concerns with a solution-oriented mindset, escalating complex issues through the appropriate channels.
  • Uphold the brand’s reputation through exemplary grooming, conduct, and professional communication.

KRA – Access Integrity & Perimeter Oversight:

  • Regulate and monitor site access to ensure only authorized personnel, vehicles, and assets enter or exit the premises.
  • Manage digital or physical visitor management systems, including identity verification and pass issuance.
  • Execute strategic patrols to verify the integrity of the perimeter and identify potential vulnerabilities.
  • Audit all entry/exit points to ensure locking mechanisms and surveillance tools are fully operational.

KRA – Asset Protection & Risk Mitigation:

  • Proactively protect company property, equipment, and intellectual assets against theft, damage, or unauthorized interference.
  • Identify, document, and report environmental risks, safety hazards, or suspicious behavioral patterns.
  • Enforce site-specific policies and regulations firmly but fairly to maintain order.
  • Perform routine safety and housekeeping inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

KRA – Incident Coordination & Emergency Response:

  • Act as a first responder to alarms, medical incidents, or security breaches with composure and efficiency.
  • Lead or assist in emergency evacuations, ensuring all visitors and staff are guided to designated assembly points.
  • Liaise with external emergency services (Police, Fire, Medical) to provide clear situational briefings.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of onsite emergency equipment and communication protocols.

KRA – Information Management & Reporting:

  • Maintain precise, real-time logs of daily operations, incidents, and notable observations.
  • Generate comprehensive incident reports detailing breaches, irregularities, or loss events.
  • Provide data-driven feedback to management regarding site safety trends.
  • Ensure the strict confidentiality of all sensitive information and organizational data.

KRA – Operational & Administrative Support:

  • Manage incoming communication lines and relay critical messages to the appropriate departments.
  • Maintain organized registers and documentation in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Support the site leadership with administrative tasks that contribute to the overall efficiency of the location.

Qualifications & Training:

  • Educational Attainment: Minimum of a Form V (School Certificate – SC).
  • Professional Certification: Must hold a valid Security Guard License as per the Private Security Services Act of Mauritius.
  • Physical Requirements: Minimum height of 1m70 and must be medically and physically fit.
  • Technical Training: Certification in First Aid and Firefighting (issued by a recognized Mauritian body like St. John Ambulance or the Mauritius Fire and Rescue Service) is highly desirable.
  • Character Clearance: A clean and valid Morality Certificate (not older than 6 months).

Experience Requirements:

  • Professional Background: Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in a frontline role, such as hospitality, customer service, or a security environment.
  • Site Experience: Previous experience working in a high-traffic environment (e.g., shopping malls, corporate offices, or the tourism/hospitality sector in Mauritius).
  • Technical Experience: Demonstrated experience in operating basic surveillance systems (CCTV) or digital visitor management logs.
  • Crisis Management: Proven track record of handling workplace incidents or emergency situations effectively.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in English, French, and Mauritian Creole to interact effectively with a diverse range of local and international stakeholders.

Responsible for the installation and programming, of CCTV surveillance System for homes and commercial buildings

Qualifications & Key Competencies Required:

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plan, install, configure and maintain CCTv systems.
• Carry out preventive maintenance check as detailed on the system specification.
• Accurately and quickly diagnose and remedy faults and problems.
• Update the system specification where necessary.
• Handle, complete and submit CCTV administrative documents
• Maintain and improve the CCTV system throughout identified locations.
• Perform repairs and commissioning of equipment, issuing commissioning certificate and keep in good state all related documents

• Ability to install an alarm systems both wired and wireless
• Commissioning of installed systems
• Ensure proper testing with the Central Monitoring Station of the Company.
• Provide After-sales response.

• Record equipment taken in intervention sheet/job card.
• Perform inventory of equipment issued.
• Ensure proper filling of intervention form and commissioning sheet:
• Ensure that intervention form and commissioning sheet are returned back for billing.
